Who we are
- SESC – the Sino-European Shipping Center – is an independent maritime service organization established in Hongkou District, Shanghai/PRC, in 2023 with goal to support European and Chinese maritime stakeholders for increasing their business volume
- SESC shall serve as an international cluster for European and Chinese maritime stakeholders incl. of the offshore industry. Target is to promote European products, technologies and services for the Chinese shipping and offshore industry. Shanghai Government supports from the beginning,
at a later stage of development the national Government will join the platform and offer further benefit for SESC members - Leading Chinese and European maritime shipping companies, organizations and service providers belong to the group of founding members; easier access to high ranking decision makers amongst member companies and Chinese partners such as shipyards
- SESC offers to support in particular innovative small and medium-sized European companies to grow their business in China either on stand-alone basis or in cooperation with local companies
- Member companies can use shared office space in Shanghai, Hongkou District, for networking
- Local SESC managers can be approached in Shanghai, Oslo, Bremen/Hamburg
